Voluntary Membership

Do you need to join voluntarily?

No, in most cases you will be auto-enrolled into the scheme when you start work via Danbro.

If you are assessed and do not meet the criteria for auto-enrolment, then you may choose to “opt-in”.

What are your contribution options?

There are 2 elements to your contributions:

1. The legal minimum contributions must be paid to the scheme – these are set at 8% of your Qualifying Earnings.

2. You may also choose to pay additional contributions, which will be deducted from your bonus payments. 

All contributions must be expressed as a percentage of earnings, not a fixed amount.

How to join

If you wish to opt-in to the pension scheme, please download and complete the Member Application Form.

The completed form should then be returned to Danbro. You may send the original by post, or an electronic copy via email. If you send it electronically, please include the phrase, “I confirm that I personally submitted this application to join a workplace pension scheme.”

Once your application has been checked, your contributions will be set up on payroll and you will receive confirmation of your membership.Member Application Form.
